🎶 It's 3 AM, I must be lonely 🎶
At least I've got Alex and Ariel on Teams to keep me company

DIV 1

The Griffin juggernaut has made it to the base of the Corn Trail at 2:30 am! They are flying! BnG seem to be the only team with any hope of catching them but that’s a big ask! Behind, Bruce and Lodge have made it through the bushbash ahead of Johns, Burg & Wamba. Ursies seem to have frozen near Currowan Camp. Is this tracker failure or something more sinister…

DIV 2

Wright continue south, approaching the rear end of Div 5, however course setters are unsure that this is a faster option. In their place, BnG have taken the lead, emerging on No Name Mtn Rd well ahead of Griffin & Old Fenner. New Fenner and Bruce are further back along this section of trail but given it’s faster, this indicates they may be able to catch up to the rest of the pack! The rest of this pack is heading through the taped section as we speak but no disasters yet!

DIV 3

Finally we’re starting to see some differences in this div! YKB are leading teams towards the Corn Trail, with Bruce, BnG, Johns & Fenner not too far behind.

Griffin struggled with the off-track section and seemed to get stuck in a gully, losing lots of spots to the other teams. Burg also struggled a little bit but both seem to be back on the trail now. The rest of the teams are making their way through this section, all have crossed Kings Hwy!

DIV 4

Div 4 continues to be an interesting split between teams! Fenner chugs along down south, and Burg and Ursies have made impressive progress on Quart Pot Road (just wait until they go through the 10 water crossings).

Meanwhile, the tension continues for the middle route down Gollarribee FT, with Griffin leading and BnG close behind! The division will likely continue like this for the next few hours until teams collide at the intersection with Fire Break FT

DIV 5

Div 5 remains clustered together on Quart Pot. Unilodge currently taking a healthy lead! Meanwhile, SexyDivXy have decided they’re too sexy for the Quart Pot, and have headed in an unexpected route north, which will collide with the Corn Trail. It definitely isn't faster, but who’s really counting?

Hospital Bound have been spotted by volunteers putting their maps back on the ground to locate themselves, but are quoted with saying that “they definitely know where they are this time”. Meanwhile, volunteers are stuck at dropsite, as they’re not allowed to take off the taping on the roadsigns until they actually leave… whoops!

DIV 6

YKB were first out of drop, and all teams have taken the southern route. You can't really fault them for not wanting to take the North Bushbash, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't extremely disappointed.

The drop may have been harder to spot than expected… 10 teams are currently at the intersection with Misty Mountain Rd, frantically scanning their maps to find where they are. No Dice. Maybe we revoke the nav award this year?
