Much like RFK Jr B&G Div 3 dislike Corn (even when not in fizzy drinks), with them the only div 3 team avoiding the corn trail, will this pay off, who knows (the predictor thinks not). Jack has been convinced to be wheeled out of retirement for (at least) one more round of IB live commentary. Despite only having ran IB once in 2019 (practically ancient history), he for some reason feels entitled enough to rashly judge runners route choices snappily labelling them terms like suboptimal. Because it's been so long since he ran he might just be religiously listening to the opinions of the predictor algorithm (he created for last year's edition, with mild improvements for 2025) making them effectively the Statler and Waldorf of the commentary team… Read more.

A self-described IB addict, Jacob has been planning to commentate since he arrived at endpoint last year. A three time runner and coach at Bruce Hall (BEST HALL!), he finally has given up running the event (for now at least) and has moved on, though only as far as committee. Serving as one of the Mock Safety Officers in 2025, Jacob is bringing the safety first mindset to the commentating team (just kidding, he wants to see as many bad bush-bashes as possible!). He is also part of the team behind IB TV & has spent weeks poring over the route choices, analysing each one on Strava to determine the ideal option. If you see a post on IB Live that seems way too detailed, it was likely written by Jacob and should be tagged with an allergy warning (may contain too much information)!… Read more.
