10 pm Race Update

It's 10 pm Aus time and already the race is throwing up some suprises!

Div 1:

Griffin is miles in front, flying along Mines Rd, rumour has it they even ran through Div 3 at dropsite, heading along Wallaby Rd. They then turned around and headed back trying to follow Lyons Rd...

Lodge, BnG Bruce, Johns, Ursies and Wamba are following them along this route.

BnG are following them along Mines Rd while Bruce, Johns and Lodge have taken the option of Old Mines Rd, favoured by the course setters. Ursies and Wamba are not too far behind and we'll see what options they take!

Burg and Fenner have taken The River Rd and seem to be moving slower, this is rougher terrain through Old School Rd, picking around the exclusion zones. However, it will flatten out for them soon!

Wright is still chugging along on the Southern route, hopefully they are enjoying something a bit different to everyone else!

Div 2:

3 teams: Bng, Wright & Inward BOETS have taken the faster option, sending it down the River Rd. Will this pay off?

Ursies and Old Fenner are currently in the lead, heading along Clyde Ridge Rd with Griffin, Johns & Burg in pursuit!

Unfortunately Fenner and Bruce seem to be a little lost already. Both teams got most of the way to Mogood before turning around, heading back through dropsite over 90 mins after the drop started 😬. While the southern route is more runnable, we'll have to see whether they can catch up!

Div 3:

We are still waiting on a confirmed Div 3 droptime before sharing their drop but they have indeed been dropped and are off and running! YKB has chosen to take Wallaby Rd to the west while BnG leads Fenner, Wright, Griffin, Burg, Wamba & Johns down Lyons Rd. Both of these options are pretty similar so we'll have to see how this pans out closer to the Hwy crossing.
