1 AM Race Update

New divs, new chaos!! From Jacob, Alex & Ariel.

Div 1

Griffin continues in the lead having navigated the off-track section well. However, BnG is hot on their heels and about to enter the bush from Downfall FT. Behind them, Lodge have passed through the checkpoint, Bruce is almost there and Burg and Johns aren’t too far behind. Wamba and Ursies are still heading in the right directions but are a little off the pace.

Fenner is making their way to Hwy Crossing 3, having seemingly run sections with their Div 2 team. Wright is approaching Nelligen for their highway crossing. 

Div 2

Our Div 2 split continues with Inward BOETS at Hwy Crossing 2, refilling their water. Wright have successfully negotiated the bushbash to Hwy Crossing 3 with BnG, Fenner and Bruce behind them.

To the north, Griffin is leading, having crossed Kings Hwy. Behind them Old Fenner, Johns, Ursies & Burg are on their way to the Hwy crossing as well.

Div 3

YKB continues to blaze through the trails, having negotiated the off-track section as well. Griffin and Bruce are the closest behind them, with most other teams still making their way through the Hwy Crossing. 

Div 4

Div 4 has had a bit of a messy start. Johns, Bruce, Burg and Ursula have seemed to diverge off Pistol Shot Rd onto some skinny firetrails, have they possibly found some secret bushbash, or are they just a bit lost? 

Bruce seems to have doubled down on this decision, surely they are not really trying to bushbash to Wandera Trig (the big hill). Fortunately for them, there will be a big red light, so they’re not entirely in the dark here.

Johns and Ursies meanwhile have stopped to gather their senses, perhaps not courageous enough for this unexpected bushbash (or too sensible). Stay tuned!

Meanwhile, Fenner, BnG, Griffin, Wambam and YKB have gone south and carry the clear lead, and Wright may have gone the opposite way to Endpoint, but quickly recovered!

Div 5

Div 5 has been dropped! The aptly named “SexyDivXy” have left dropout first, with the first college team Griffin following close behind. Both have decided to take the western route (in our opinion, the faster one). All other Div 5 teams have gone south to follow! No one has opted for the North route… perhaps #CornTrailSucks has taken off?

However YKB have seemed to miscalculate, and have taken Gully Rd away from endpoint out of drop. There is nothing down this route that will help them get back on track, lets hope they find out and turn around soon
