Div 7 Teams bearing down fast on endpoint

Division 7

Ursies 7 are still pushing ahead in div 7 and are bearing down fast on endpoint. They took the lead from the start and have not looked like giving it up yet.

Burg, Lodge and Wamba are all looking to meet at the crossroads and then have the final push towards endpoint. At this point - it's anyones game if they've got the legs for a fast finish! Lodge - taking the northern route are bringing a new element to the race. What a race for second this will be!

The other teams are all chasing hard and we will see if the leaderboard is shaken up soon. Notably, after a slower start - B&G have started tearing ahead. They have covered a lot of the ground they lost - and are now attempting an ambitious bushbash to put themselves ahead! Will it pay off? It looks like a great move but it depends how quickly they can move through the bush! It's all setting up for a very exciting finish.

EP Approach Exclusion Zone Problems

A number of teams seem to have been having issues with navigating the last kilometres to endpoint. From the east, Unilodge 7, Yukeembruk 7 and The Fast and the Furriest seem to have strayed west of the dashed path they need to follow to avoid private property. Meanwhile, from the south, Burgmann 4 apparently missed the turnoff onto Majors Creek Mountain Road and continued into the excluded area of Araluen Road, but they turned back and are back in the Araluen township where the roads diverge… Read more.

One thing about IB which always remains true - is the sheer number of very interconnected relationships within Inward Bound. For example - even in the committee, Martin, Kaz and Mia (and maybe more…?) will be cheering on a special someone whilst helping out at Endpoint.
