B&G 6 seem to have missed a turn-off and are heading directly for the excluded section of Apollo Road. They’re so close to the end here…it can be difficult to maintain focus for such a long period of time.

B&G Div 6 made a wrong turn and briefly headed up towards Mt Tennent however they have recovered and are now back on track, however Bruce and Fenner both over took them in the 20 minutes that this route diversion took… Read more.

The predictor is now up and running!, at the start will be super volatile and likely under estimate time of arrival just after drop (over estimate eventual overall average GAP (Gradient Adjusted Pace)) as typically teams start off hot/fast (see below graph of speeds of historical IB teams) with it taking time for teams to settle in a rhythm and on a route. It also assumes optimal navving which is probably unlikely, only accounting for the terrain and distance of the optimal route ahead. This means it will also not consider other factors that may slow a team down like a trail being overgrown… Read more.
