  Unless the trackers mislead me, it seems as though Bruce div 4, Ursies div 4, Johns div 3 and B&G div 4 all missed the turn off to Donovan Creek Rd and instead of turning back took the social running club off-road in a bush bash to a forestry road. Funny stuff, good save! … Read more.

  Bruce Div 3 have been flirting with Old Coach Road but can’t seem to commit, and for good reason! Old Coach Road is an excluded road and an unallowable route. Looking at the YB tracker Bruce 3 seems to have realised this and pulled off a bush bash/ use of intricate back trails manoeuvre- nice!   Bruce Division 3 made the right call and avoided Old Coach Road, an excluded private property road, by taking a bush bash aimed at the top of the Old Princes Hwy.   Ursies div 3 and Griffin div 3 are now more decisively leading the pack, neck-and-neck. At the intersection between The River Rd and The Sheep Track, teams can either continue on The River Rd or take The Sheep Track to swing south further east. Both routes are the same distance, but The Sheep Track has ~100m less climbing uphill. Ursies and griffin took The River Rd, but what will the rest of our social runners do? … Read more.

  Division 3/4 seems to have turned into a social fun run with most teams taking the major intended route via The River Road, many of them within hundreds of metres of each other. Bruce div 3 and Ursies div 4 have taken Middle Ridge road, which puts them on course towards an excluded area along Old Coach Road... If they have an ace up to sleeve to get around that, it could cut out serious kms from their route, let's see what they do… Read more.
